it fell close to a river

floating down the river came a tuna fish can

inside was an old woman

she had no skin

and she said: 'kill me please, painfully'

The ever-evolving technology has made fiction real to a level that it has become a new level of alternate reality. This is of course its reason of existing… the line between reality and fiction is blurred in a mixture of words, bitmaps and sound. We live a digital era... internet… multimedia…

Design has to evolve if it is to live forever.

I was born in Mexico and so is all my work… fighting for a place, striving for a name.

The influence of my background in industrial design shows through every piece, every set, every sketch… I am unable to create art without function… thus applied art has become my form of expression.

Inside film and theatre I learned to be an art director… always subordinate to a script, budget or director but nevertheless trying to innovate… applying my knowledge of materials and techniques from industrial design to a specialty where they made a difference.

However if I am ever to succeed I must write my own story…

A story created to the likes of an image, a mental concept that I have to give life in words, in characters, in places…
